35+
For busy adults 30 and above
Stressed by noon, bloated by 3 PM, foggy by 5? Look at your gut.
Long-term stress keeps cortisol high, and high cortisol changes the environment your gut bacteria live in. The result often shows up as bloating, irregular digestion, poor sleep and a tired, cloudy head. MindFlora is a daily capsule built to support that gut environment.
- 35 billion CFU
- 12 named strains
- Inulin + vitamin D3
- Delayed-release capsule
30 capsules, one a day. Vegan. Made in Bengaluru.
How everyday stress ends up in your stomach
Your gut and brain talk to each other all day, mainly through the vagus nerve and stress hormones. When stress never switches off, this is roughly what happens.
Stress stays on
Deadlines, commutes, family load, late nights. Your body treats it as a constant alarm.
Cortisol stays high
The stress hormone system (HPA axis) keeps releasing cortisol, which slows or speeds digestion unpredictably.
The gut environment shifts
Friendly bacteria thin out, the gut lining can become leakier, and food ferments more — hello gas and bloating.
Your gut signals back
An unsettled gut sends stress signals up to the brain, which can show up as low mood, poor focus and light sleep.
That's the loop: stress upsets the gut, and an upset gut makes stress feel worse. Supporting the gut side is one practical way to help break it, alongside sleep, food and movement.
Quick check: is stress showing up in your gut?
Tap everything that sounds like your usual week.
You ticked
- 0–1: Your gut seems to be coping. Keep your routine steady.
- 2–3: Stress may be starting to affect your digestion and energy.
- 4 or more: Your gut is likely feeling the load. A daily gut–brain support is worth trying.
Why this gets harder after 30
Nothing breaks overnight. A few slow changes stack up at the same time as life gets busier.
More stress, less recovery
Work pressure and responsibilities peak while sleep and downtime shrink, so cortisol has fewer chances to come down.
Less variety in your gut bacteria
Repeated meals, eating out, antibiotics over the years and low fibre all narrow the range of bacteria in your gut.
Digestion gets less forgiving
Late dinners, rushed lunches and sitting all day make bloating and acidity more common than in your twenties.
Low vitamin D is very common
Many urban Indians are low in vitamin D, which plays a role in immunity, mood and the gut's own balance.
For men
Stress often shows up as post-meal bloating, acidity, a heavy stomach and afternoon fatigue.
For women
Hormonal shifts in the 30s and 40s can add to bloating, slower digestion and mood swings.
What's in one capsule
Every strain is named with its amount — no hidden "proprietary blend". Here they are, grouped by what they're studied for.
Stress & mood 4 strains
Studied for their effect on the stress response and how the brain handles stress.
- Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus3.5 B
- Bifidobacterium longum3.5 B
- Lactobacillus helveticus3.0 B
- Lacticaseibacillus casei3.0 B
Research note: L. helveticus + B. longum + L. plantarum changed brain activity in emotion-related areas in a brain-imaging trial (Rode et al., 2022).
Focus & brain support 3 strains
Studied for memory, serotonin production and protecting nerve cells.
- Lactobacillus acidophilus3.5 B
- Lactiplantibacillus plantarum3.0 B
- Bifidobacterium breve3.0 B
Research note: a mix with L. acidophilus and B. longum improved verbal memory scores in older adults (Hu et al., 2023).
Gut lining & digestion 3 strains
Studied for strengthening the gut wall and easing bloating and irregular stools.
- Bifidobacterium bifidum3.5 B
- Bacillus coagulans (spore-forming)2.5 B
- Streptococcus thermophilus2.0 B
Research note: B. coagulans BC99 reduced anxiety and depression scores over 8 weeks in a placebo-controlled pilot trial (2025).
Immunity & balance 2 strains
Studied for immune activity and keeping unfriendly bacteria in check.
- Bifidobacterium lactis3.0 B
- Limosilactobacillus reuteri2.5 B
Research note: L. reuteri + B. breve improved mood scores in 200 new mothers (Vicariotto et al., 2023).
Inulin, 50 mg
A plant fibre that feeds the good bacteria, which then make compounds that nourish your gut lining.
Vitamin D3, 600 IU
100% of the daily requirement, to cover a very common gap that affects immunity and mood.
Built to get past stomach acid
DRcaps® delayed-release capsules are designed to resist stomach acid, and B. coagulans travels as hardy spores.
What to expect, honestly
Probiotics work gradually. Most of the studies behind these strains ran for 4 to 12 weeks, so give it at least a month of daily use.
-
Days 1–7
Your gut adjusts. Some people notice a little extra gas at first; it usually settles.
-
Weeks 2–3
Many people start to notice lighter digestion and fewer heavy, bloated evenings.
-
Week 4
Bowel habits tend to feel more regular. A good point to judge how you feel.
-
Weeks 8–12
The window most gut–brain studies measured mood, stress and focus changes.

Questions people ask
Who is MindFlora for?
Adults, men and women, who notice that stress shows up in their stomach — bloating, irregular digestion, acidity — along with low energy, poor focus or restless sleep. It's most relevant from your 30s onward, when stress tends to be highest.
How do I take it?
One capsule a day with a meal. Take it at the same time daily and continue for at least 4 weeks before judging results; 2–3 months is ideal.
Is it a medicine?
No. MindFlora is a nutraceutical supplement, not a treatment for any disease. It supports gut health as part of a routine that includes decent sleep, fibre-rich food and movement.
Can I take it with my other medicines?
Probiotics are generally well tolerated, but if you take regular medication, are on antibiotics, have a weakened immune system, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your doctor first.
Will I feel any side effects?
Some people notice mild gas or a change in bowel habits in the first week as the gut adjusts. If anything feels wrong or lasts longer, stop and talk to your doctor.
Is it vegetarian?
Yes. It's vegan and non-GMO, and it doesn't need refrigeration.
